Do I have to be Baptized to be Saved?
Does a person have to be baptized to be saved? This issue alone has been the cause of much division and debate among different denominations in Christendom; and the failure to understand this subject has caused a lot of doubt and confusion in people. For example, some people fear their baptism may not have been performed properly. These people may even fear their baptism didn't count; and that they are not going to make it to Heaven. You know, I am so glad the Gospel is not as confusing as people try to make it out to be! In this message, I pray the Holy Spirit will take the word of God and clear up this matter of baptism once for all.
There a few verses in the bible that people try to use to prove a person must be baptized to be saved. In this message, we don't have time to comment on every one of those verses, but we will rather read one of those verses, and then focus our attention on learning what baptism is all about.
