I am afraid I may have committed the unpardonable sin?
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Mat 12:31
There is, perhaps, no greater fear than to believe you have committed what is today called "The Unpardonable Sin". The unrelenting terror belonging to a person who believes he has committed this sin is known to him alone, and can only be understood by others, who have once shared in this fear themselves. Some have sought comfort in reading books or commentaries on this topic, only to find themselves falling into greater despair. This happens when the writer they have read from either fails to sufficiently explain the passage, or worse, misexplains it altogether, thus causing the reader to wrongfully believe that he has, in fact committed this sin. Listen to this message to have this scripture, not simply explained away, but expounded in a manner that honors the words of Christ, warns the hearts of men, and relieves the fear of those who wrongfully believe they have blasphemed the Holy Ghost.
